Spaten Oktoberfest

Spaten Oktoberfest is a medium bodied ur marzen with aromatic roasted malt flavor and deep amber color. First served at the 1872 Oktoberfest making it the World’s first Oktoberfest beer. Spaten Oktoberfest is used for the ceremonial keg tapping by the Mayor of Munich to kick off the Oktoberfest festival. Spaten Oktoberfest is heavily involved in the Munich Oktoberfest with three (3) major festival tents. (Schottenhamel, Ochsenbraterei, and the Hippodrom.
